According to Matt Cutts, it is an algorithmic change from Google’s search quality team. It tends to rank lower quality sites lower and allows higher quality site to rank higher. It looks for signals of quality that users love.
If you want to succeed on Google, you have to step into the Google mindset and think about things the way Google does.
A main target of Panda are content farms that tend to offer low quality or even spam content and that tend to have lots of revenue sharing ads on the page.
These sites, although they offered little in user value tended to be SEO’d to the point where the would outrank legitimate sites and even authority sites.
Google has finally stepped in.
If you own a website or a blog, undoubtedly you have some concerns about how the Google Panda algorithm change will affect it now and into the future.
The only way to manage your online presence effectively is to understand what Google is doing, what they want and ultimately to give it to them.

You can also gain extra traffic to your websites through back-links. Turning Blog posts into articles and submitting them to free article submission directories is a wonderful way of adding to your long term traffic. Then when people view the articles they will be in a position to then go on and visit your other web pages.
I was originally one of the late starters when it came to Blogging which is something I often regret. But since jumping onto the Blogging Bandwagon I have enjoyed every single moment of it.
