Internet Marketing: This Might Be The #1 Reason You’re Failing

If I were to ask you to guess why the vast majority of Internet Marketers fail to make any money online I’d be willing to bet cold hard cash that the answers would range from product selection to website design and everything associated with selling and marketing in between.

What if I were to tell you that you’re absolutely dead WRONG!

Of course things like traffic generation, list building, finding a profitable niche, website/blog design, auto-responder series, etc. are vitally important, but I’ve discovered through scores of conversations with new and struggling online marketers that it is something far simpler than the mechanics of online marketing.

The fact that it is so simple is the main reason so many folks miss it.

OK rather than draw out the suspense, I’ll let you in on the secret missing ingredient that causes most online marketers to never…

• Generate substantial targeted traffic…
• Build a list of hungry subscribers…
• Or… make consistent sales.

Drum roll please…

OK, here it is… ACTION!!!

That’s right; the vast majority of new and struggling online marketers do not take any action toward building their businesses. Most are stuck at the point of what is commonly referred to as “analysis-paralysis.”

These are good people, who begin with serious intentions about building an online business and then get stuck collecting and analysis information that in reality they’ll never, ever use.

Does this sound familiar? You join scores of subscriber lists, download tons of free eBooks and software and in fact, join forums and spend hours looking for that secret or special formula that will result in a break-through.

If what I’ve just described resonates with you, you may be stuck in this boat!

At this point, you probably know more about Internet Marketing than most seasoned veterans, but thats it. You’ve become a repository of information about Internet Marketing. But knowledge alone is not enough. What makes things hum is doing!

NO ACTION = NO SALES!

All the good intentions in the world amount to zero, zilch, nada if you never do anything.

The most common reason for this paralysis is information overload!

If you’ve ever been in a fine dining restaurant you’ve probably been presented with one of those menus with a thousand choices on it. So many choices that you become overwhelmed and end up ordering a hamburger as a result. The sheer volume of choices caused you to actually choose the lesser of many evils so to speak.
Rather than taking a chance on something perhaps unfamiliar on the menu, you can’t decide so you end up taking the safest path available – Cheeseburger & fries!

How can you (if you’re in this boat) overcome the analysis –paralysis and information overload and start making some money?

The answer is again simple. You need a plan. There is an old adage in sales that says, “Work you plan and plan you work!” It’s proven and sound advice.

If you don’t know where you’re going, you’re likely to end up some place else…

If you do not have a specific game plan, one that you can put your hands on, you’re doomed to fail.

For a very limited time, I’m giving away my free report, 48 Hour Action Plan, that walks you step-by-step through a simple outline for planning day-to-day activities you need to do to make money online.

3 Tips for Effective Internet Marketing Strategies

On the net, making an effort to get more visitors is essential for webmasters to generate more sales. There are various methods to drive visitors to websites such as search engine optimization,, traffic exchange programs, social bookmarks, and so on. Let’s look at three effective internet marketing strategies which are discussion forums, article marketing, and email marketing.

Discussion forums are that people join community and exchange ideas, opinions, and thoughts related to a certain topic and a great way to bring visitors to websites. You join community related to your industry, fill up your own profile, and start posting at interested topics. By posting opinions or sharing knowledge, you are gradually recognized by the other members and obtain an expert status for the certain topic. The members will look at your profile and visit your website.

Article marketing is that you write an article regarding your industry and submit it to article directory sites. By sharing your industrial knowledge through articles is still powerful tools to drive visitors to your website. You write unique and informative articles and submit them to high rank article directory sites such as EzineArticles, goarticles, and articlesbase. You will gradually gain an expert status for your industry. Moreover, some webmasters who look for contents can publish their websites. You will gain more back link from these various websites.

Email marketing is an outstanding marketing strategy if you have own email list. You can build up the list by using auto-responders or promoting free subscriptions. For instance, you can give away free ebooks or newsletters in exchange of subscribing your list. If you do not have the list, you can always join safelist such as Business World List and send ads to the community. More send ads means that you can get more prospects. Remember, you do not want to send a spam email.

There are more internet marketing methods that you can find online; however, I personally use these marketing strategies and work fine to me. Discussion forums, article marketing, and email marketing are effective internet marketing so far and always stay on my top marketing tools online.
