How To Get Your Site Indexed Google In 12 Hours…

Here is an easy strategy to get your website (or preferably blog) indexed by Google in 12 hours or less.

Bookmark your site using Jumptags.com

Just go to jumptags and register for a free account. Your site should be on the front page of Jumptags which Google will spider. I have had sites indexed in under three hours.

Mister-Wong.com is another bookmarking service that indexes in Google fairly quickly.

I also recommend that you submit your sites to:

  1. Google – www.google.com/addurl/
  2. Yahoo – search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html
  3. Bing – www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx

Then create a site map. For traditional websites you can use this free tool, XML-Sitemap Generator. Use an FTP service like Filezilla (it’s free to download) to upload your sitemaps to your root directory public_html file.

For WordPress blogs, it’s much simpler. Just upload the WordPress XML plugin. It will do all the work for you.

Lastly, I recommend creating accounts at:

Google Webmaster Tools – www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
Yahoo Sitebuilder - http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/
Bing Webmaster Center – www.bing.com/webmaster

You will be required to upload a small file to your domain to authenticate your account for each service.  It only takes a few minutes but will greatly improve your chances of getting indexed quickly.

If you’ve got a method for getting indexed quickly,  leave a comment and share the wealth!

Good luck and talk soon,

Bob

Optimizing for Google and getting your site on Google’s coveted first page is not difficult with a little work and know how. If you’re new to Internet Marketing you probably realize that just launching a website that looks cool or even that has great content is by itself, not enough to get you on the first page of Google. You must employ sound SEO tactics to achieve the desired results.

What follows is the first post in my series on basic “onsite” SEO tips that will get you started. keep in mind, there is no magic bullet. There are however tried and tested methods which work and which have to tweaked occasionally as Google adapts and changes its algorithms. What works today may not work next week.

Step 1 – Keyword Research. Yeah, I know, it’s been beat to death but the truth is, not choosing the right keywords is the death nil to countless aspiring online marketers.

There are essentially two kinds of keywords. Research keywords and buying keywords.

If you are trying to sell a product and earn quick profits, you want to avoid “research” keywords and concentrate on keyword phrases that people who are looking to purchase a product or service are querying Google and the other search engines with.

Let’s use “dog training” as an example. The term “dog training” is extremely broad. A Google search for this term returns 39,000,000 results. However Google actually helps you in defining search terms. See the screen shot below.

When you type in the term “dog training” Google actually provides you with more specific search queries.

The more specific you are in your search term the greater your chances of (1) ranking high in Google and attracting buyers. For example, the search term “dog training collar reviews” has much fewer results: 477,000. And when put in quotations, the results are only 37,100.

By adding the term “REVIEW” to your keyword phrase you will generate interest from dog owners who are looking to purchase the best collar for their particular dog.

Click the Google “Option” button and open the Wonder Wheel feature for even more keyword research!

Here are a few examples of Buyer Keyword Phrases…

“How to lose weight before a wedding” (desperate for a solution)
“How to restore deleted files” (desperate for a solution)
“Acne Free in 3 Days” (looking for a specific product name)
“Suunto X9i” (looking for a specific product name)

Get the idea?

In my next post, I’ll cover “Optimizing Meta tags”. Even though Google does not rely on certain “meta tags” there are meta tags that are a must for high SERP in Google.

I recommend you subscribe to my RSS feed as I will be adding to the series regularly.

How To Create Money Making Mini-sites In Less Than 30 Minutes

Creating a Mini-site

Creating profitable mini-sites is a lot easier than you may think and can be a great way to create passive income from content you probably already have – PLR Articles.

If you’re like me, you probably have loads of PLR articles on your hard drive that are gathering dust. Here’s a simple method to turn wasted hard drive space into a cash machine.

First, you’ll need to either create a template or just download a free Adsense Template from the Internet. You can get one here http://www.getcsstemplates.com/.

Next, go through your articles and pull out 5-10 to use for content pages. Do a quick search in Google to determine their popularity. Make sure you do an “Optimized Results Search” by typing the search phrase in ‘quotations.’ For example, instead of dog training, type – “dog training”.

Optimally you want a phrase that has 1000-5000 optimized results. That’s the “niche” phrase.

Now, open your Adsense template. Once you’ve added the content to the template, make sure you perform SEO on your articles and upload them.

How to SEO Your Articles

1. Make sure your “Keyword Phrase” is in the ‘Title’
2. Use your main keyword 2-3 times in the body of the article.
3. Use keyword in the last sentence of the article.

For an added boost of FREE traffic, re-write the articles and post them to EzineArticles.com, GoArticles .com and SearchWarp.com.

Bookmark the site in your favorite Web 2.0 social bookmarking sites, Rinse and Repeat.

These types of mini-sites make excellent “feeder sites” that drive traffic to your “Money Pages ” and they are easy to monetize with Adsense or CPA banners.
